Bid for Norfolk

Norfolk is once again bound for the English Women’s County Finals after a successful defence of their East region title.

This year’s finals will take place at Selby Golf Club from the 19-21st September. Here Norfolk will play against the other five regional winners: Buckinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Northumberland, Somerset and Surrey

County Captain Jo Herd said “as a team we are so proud to represent our County and to make the finals for a second year in a row is a real achievement. We are so appreciative of all our members and volunteers support, and we know without them our success wouldn’t be possible. 

To show our thanks each of the team have secured a voucher from their home club to enable us to run a silent auction and we also have had the support of some other clubs from around the County. We hope as a result some of our Norfolk members will have some great days out and all money raised will go towards supporting the County Team.”

The silent auction is open to any member of a golf club in Norfolk who is aged 18 and over, for a chance to win a round at any of these clubs: Barnham Broom, Eaton, Gt Yarmouth & Caister, Hunstanton, Ryston, Sheringham, Thetford, Royal Cromer, Royal Norwich and Royal West Norfolk.
