Treasurer Needed

The Norfolk Ladies County Golf Association is seeking to recruit a Treasurer starting from November 2024.

This is a key role; the Treasurer is an Officer of the Association and a member of the Executive Committee. They are responsible for the financial affairs of the Association ensuring they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice.

It involves:

General financial oversight

Financial planning and budgeting

Financial reporting

Banking, book-keeping and record keeping

Requires someone with:

Financial qualification or relevant experience in bookkeeping.

Ability to maintain accurate financial records using financial software packages, Excel and Word.

Ability to interpret and present financial data.

This is a 3-year term with time commitment of up to 2 days per week (volume varies according to time of year) starting from 25th November 2024

This is a voluntary role which is supported by a mileage allowance for all NLCGA business and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
